Mit klarer Haltung, diplomatischem Geschick und einem offenen Bekenntnis zur transatlantischen Partnerschaft hat Bundeskanzler Merz deutlich gemacht: Deutschland ist zur\u00fcck auf der Weltb\u00fchne \u2013 selbstbewusst, zuverl\u00e4ssig und handlungsf\u00e4hig.<\/span><\/p>\n

Friedrich Merz hat bei seinem Besuch in Washington deutlich gemacht, wof\u00fcr die neue unionsgef\u00fchrte Bundesregierung steht: f\u00fcr Verl\u00e4sslichkeit, au\u00dfenpolitische Verantwortung und ein starkes transatlantisches B\u00fcndnis. Er hat sich klar zur Freundschaft mit den Vereinigten Staaten bekannt \u2013 und an die historische Bedeutung dieser Partnerschaft erinnert. Dass Pr\u00e4sident Trump den Kanzler als \u201egood man\u201c und \u201egreat leader\u201c bezeichnet hat, ist mehr als eine h\u00f6fliche Geste: Es ist ein Zeichen, dass Deutschland international endlich wieder ernst genommen wird.<\/span><\/p>\n

Auch in der Sache wurde Klartext gesprochen: Bundeskanzler Merz hat erneut betont, dass wir an der Seite der Ukraine stehen und es auf eine gemeinsame europ\u00e4isch-amerikanische Verantwortung ankommt, den Frieden auf unserem Kontinent zu sichern. Gleichzeitig hat er unterstrichen, wie eng und wirtschaftlich erfolgreich unsere L\u00e4nder miteinander verbunden sind \u2013 und wie wichtig es ist, Handelskonflikte zu l\u00f6sen, statt neue Mauern zu errichten.<\/span><\/p>\n

Besonders erfreulich ist, dass Pr\u00e4sident Trump die US-Truppenpr\u00e4senz in Deutschland ausdr\u00fccklich bekr\u00e4ftigt hat. Damit ist klar: Die transatlantische Sicherheitsarchitektur bleibt auch k\u00fcnftig ein zentraler Stabilit\u00e4tsanker f\u00fcr Europa.<\/span><\/p>\n

Der Antrittsbesuch von Friedrich Merz war ein voller Erfolg. Deutschland hat wieder einen Bundeskanzler, der au\u00dfenpolitische Gespr\u00e4che auf Augenh\u00f6he f\u00fchrt \u2013 mit Haltung, Erfahrung und Verl\u00e4sslichkeit. Der Politikwechsel zeigt nun auch au\u00dfenpolitisch Wirkung.
