Der Grund: Eine leichtfertige \u00c4nderung des Allgemeinen Eisenbahngesetzes durch die Ampel hat dazu gef\u00fchrt, dass ehemalige Bahnfl\u00e4chen faktisch nicht mehr entwidmet werden konnten. Die Folge: Zahlreiche st\u00e4dtebauliche Projekte, wie etwa das Stuttgarter Rosensteinquartier, drohten am Gesetz zu scheitern.<\/span><\/p>\n

Damit ist jetzt Schluss: Gestern hat der Deutsche Bundestag in erster Lesung \u00fcber unseren Gesetzentwurf beraten, der die Fehlentwicklung der Ampel r\u00fcckg\u00e4ngig macht und den Kommunen wieder mehr Handlungsspielraum verschafft.<\/span><\/p>\n

Konkret bedeutet das: In Zukunft ist eine Freistellung von Bahnfl\u00e4chen wieder m\u00f6glich, wenn kein Verkehrsbed\u00fcrfnis besteht und auch langfristig keine Nutzung f\u00fcr den Bahnbetriebszweck absehbar ist. Gleichzeitig bleibt der Schieneninfrastruktur dort Vorrang einger\u00e4umt, wo eine Wiederinbetriebnahme realistisch erscheint, etwa durch Reaktivierungsprojekte.<\/span><\/p>\n

Diese ausgewogene L\u00f6sung sorgt f\u00fcr Planungssicherheit, sch\u00fctzt vor Fl\u00e4chenblockade und erm\u00f6glicht zugleich, wertvolle Infrastruktur zu erhalten. Besonders wichtig: F\u00fcr vor dem 29. Dezember 2023 gestellte Freistellungsantr\u00e4ge wird eine \u00dcbergangsregelung eingef\u00fchrt, damit Investitionen nicht nachtr\u00e4glich ausgebremst werden.<\/span><\/p>\n
