F\u00fcr mich steht fest: Der bestehende Kompromiss darf nicht leichtfertig aufgegeben werden.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ich bin der \u00dcberzeugung, dass dieser Paragraph einen wichtigen Grundpfeiler des Schutzes des ungeborenen Lebens und einen klugen Kompromiss, der sowohl das Recht auf Leben als auch die Selbstbestimmung der Frau ber\u00fccksichtigt, darstellt. Die aktuelle Regelung nimmt auch die Menschenw\u00fcrde und das Lebensrecht des ungeborenen Kindes in den Blick und h\u00e4lt im Bewusstsein, dass es dabei um ein hohes Rechtsgut geht. Das w\u00fcrde mit der Abschaffung des \u00a7218 wegfallen. Die aktuelle Regelung gew\u00e4hrleistet, dass eine Beratung stattfindet und die Frau anschlie\u00dfend eine informierte und \u00fcberlegte Entscheidung ohne Druck durch Dritte – wie etwa Partner und Herkunftsfamilie – treffen kann. Im \u00dcbrigen: Ungewollt Schwangere m\u00fcssen sich nirgendwo erkl\u00e4ren oder gar rechtfertigen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Der vorgeschlagene Gesetzesentwurf zur Abschaffung des \u00a7218 hingegen widerspricht fundamental den Urteilen des Bundesverfassungsgerichtes und w\u00fcrde zu einer erheblichen Schw\u00e4chung des Schutzes des ungeborenen Lebens f\u00fchren. Die Behauptung, dass eine Kriminalisierung von Schwangeren oder \u00c4rzten stattfindet, ist schlichtweg falsch und irref\u00fchrend. Die aktuelle Regelung respektiert die selbstbestimmte Entscheidung der Frau in den ersten zw\u00f6lf Wochen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Die Zahl der Strafverfahren gegen Frauen oder \u00c4rzte ist im \u00dcbrigen verschwindend gering. Es ist bezeichnend, dass dieses Faktum regelm\u00e4\u00dfig verschwiegen wird. Konkret: Die Zahl der Strafverfahren gegen Frauen oder \u00c4rzte ist bei \u00fcber 100.000 Schwangerschaftsabbr\u00fcchen pro Jahr in Deutschland schon heute gleich Null!<\/span><\/p>\n

Den Gesetzesvorsto\u00df von Abgeordneten der SPD, Gr\u00fcnen und FDP auf den letzten Metern in dieser Legislaturperiode halte ich f\u00fcr \u00fcbereilt \u2013 es kann noch nicht einmal die obligatorische Anh\u00f6rung zu dem Gesetz stattfinden! Ein solcher Eingriff in ein so sensibles und ethisch komplexes Thema wie das Recht auf Leben darf nicht im Eilverfahren durch den Deutschen Bundestag gepeitscht werden. Solche weitreichenden Entscheidungen k\u00f6nnen nicht im Vorbeigehen diskutiert und entschieden werden, sondern erfordern eine gr\u00fcndliche und umfassende Debatte.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mir ist bewusst, dass jede Entscheidung f\u00fcr oder gegen einen Schwangerschaftsabbruch eine sehr pers\u00f6nliche und oftmals schmerzliche ist.
