Nach dem fulminanten Auftakt im letzten Jahr sind in dieser Woche erneut \u00fcber 200 kommunalpolitisch interessierte Frauen meiner Einladung nach Berlin gefolgt, um sich gemeinsam f\u00fcr eine st\u00e4rkere Repr\u00e4sentation von Frauen in unseren Kommunalparlamenten starkzumachen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dass es hier jede Menge zu tun gibt, zeigt allein der Blick auf die Zahlen: Frauen stellen in Deutschland etwas mehr als die H\u00e4lfte der Bev\u00f6lkerung, sind aber mit einem Anteil von rund 30 Prozent in den Kommunalparlamenten deutlich unterrepr\u00e4sentiert. Woran liegt das und was muss getan werden, um diesen Missstand zu beheben? Genau dar\u00fcber haben wir an zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen diskutiert.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Der erste Tag wartete mit einem besonderen H\u00f6hepunkt auf: Nach einem Austausch mit der Gruppe der Frauen der CDU\/CSU-Bundestagsfraktion im Reichstagsgeb\u00e4ude folgte im Konrad-Adenauer-Haus die Rede unseres Parteivorsitzenden und frisch gek\u00fcrten Kanzlerkandidaten f\u00fcr die Bundestagswahl 2025, Friedrich Merz MdB. In einem emotionalen Appell betonte er, dass Frauen unverzichtbare Gestalterinnen der politischen Zukunft seien, und ermutigte die Teilnehmerinnen, ihre politischen Ideen noch selbstbewusster zu vertreten und in die Tat umzusetzen. Seinen gelungenen Abschluss fand der Abend bei einem gem\u00fctlichen Get-together mit Live-Musik.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Der zweite Veranstaltungstag begann nicht weniger aufregend: Die TV-Moderatorin und Bestsellerautorin Franca Lehfeldt und die Vorsitzende der Mittelstands- und Wirtschaftsunion (MIT) Gitta Connemann MdB teilten ihre Erfahrungen als Frauen in mehrheitlichen von M\u00e4nnern dominierten Bereichen. In zwei hochkar\u00e4tig besetzten Panels zu klassischen kommunalpolitischen Themen \u2013 dem Ausbau des Betreuungsangebotes und der Schaffung von Pflegepl\u00e4tzen \u2013 sowie einer vielf\u00e4ltigen Talkrunde erhielten die Teilnehmerinnen im Anschluss praktische Handreichungen f\u00fcr ihr kommunalpolitisches Engagement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Women@CDU bleibt eine unverzichtbare Plattform f\u00fcr den Austausch, die Vernetzung und die Unterst\u00fctzung von Frauen in der Kommunalpolitik.
