Als Demokraten d\u00fcrfen wir diese zunehmende Verrohung nicht tatenlos hinnehmen. Ehrenamtliche, Einsatzkr\u00e4fte und Kommunalpolitiker m\u00fcssen dringend besser gesch\u00fctzt werden!<\/span><\/p>\n

Dabei darf auch eine Diskussion \u00fcber m\u00f6gliche Strafrechtsversch\u00e4rfungen kein Tabu sein. Es kann nicht sein, dass T\u00e4ter nach einer Tat noch monatelang auf freiem Fu\u00df bleiben und am Ende sogar mit einem milden Urteil davonkommen. Hier braucht es die volle H\u00e4rte des Rechtsstaates.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Gerade auf der kommunalen Ebene kommt es aber auch darauf an, dass sich Kommunalvertreter untereinander um ein vern\u00fcnftiges, an der Sache orientiertes Arbeitsklima bem\u00fchen und den parteipolitischen Streit in den Hintergrund treten lassen. Die B\u00fcrgerinnen und B\u00fcrger wiederum sind in hitzigen Situationen gefordert, zu hinterfragen, ob es richtig ist, Politiker grunds\u00e4tzlich f\u00fcr alles verantwortlich zu machen. Weniger Gebr\u00fcll und mehr Diskurs t\u00e4ten uns sicherlich gut.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bei allen Diskussionen um die Ursachen und Folgen der Gewaltzunahme darf eines nicht passieren: Einknicken. Es w\u00e4re falsch, wenn Kommunalpolitiker aufgrund von Hass, Hetze und Gewalt ihre \u00c4mter niederlegen, denn dann h\u00e4tte die falsche Seite gewonnen. Das k\u00f6nnen wir als Gesellschaft nicht zulassen \u2013 und m\u00fcssen umso mehr solidarisch und ermutigend an ihrer Seite stehen. Unser Land braucht leidenschaftliche und standhafte Demokraten.
