In dieser Woche hat das Bundesverfassungsgericht \u00fcber die von uns dagegen eingereichte Verfassungsklage verhandelt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Es ist richtig, dass der Bundestag schrumpfen muss! Allerdings muss die korrekte Abbildung des W\u00e4hlerwillens dabei oberste Priorit\u00e4t haben. Die Wahlrechtsreform der Ampel w\u00fcrde jedoch zu einer grotesken Verzerrung des tats\u00e4chlichen Wahlverhaltens f\u00fchren. Nach dem Willen der Bundesregierung soll es zuk\u00fcnftig keine Rolle mehr spielen, ob eine Partei einen, f\u00fcnf oder 45 Wahlkreise direkt gewinnt \u2013 es wird kein einziger Abgeordneter in den Bundestag einziehen, wenn die Partei nicht bundesweit mehr als 5 Prozent der Zweitstimmen erreicht. Diese Regelung kann vor dem Demokratieprinzip des Grundgesetzes keinen Bestand haben.<\/span><\/p>\n

Doch selbst wenn eine Partei bundesweit mehr als 5 Prozent der Zweitstimmen erreicht, w\u00e4re ein direkt gewonnener Wahlkreis kein Garant f\u00fcr den Einzug in den Bundestag. Denn ob ein Direktkandidat erfolgreich ist, bemisst sich nach dem Willen der Ampel wesentlich danach, wie er im Verh\u00e4ltnis zu anderen Direktkandidaten abschneidet. <\/span>Das deutsche Wahlrecht hat die Direktkandidaten aber immer besonders gest\u00e4rkt <\/span>\u2013 <\/span>und das aus gutem Grund. Sie stehen f\u00fcr B\u00fcrgern\u00e4he und f\u00fcr Arbeit vor Ort. Sie sind die \u201eKontakt-Abgeordneten\u201c, die K\u00fcmmerer. Die Ampel weicht davon ab und will Vorrang f\u00fcr die Partei-Listen. Damit aber schwindet der Einfluss der W\u00e4hlerinnen und W\u00e4hler vor Ort auf die Zusammensetzung des Bundestages.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mit einem Urteil des Bundesverfassungsgerichts wird zwar erst in einigen Wochen gerechnet. Als Unionsfraktion rechnen wir aber fest mit einem Erfolg unserer Klage. Schon jetzt steht fest: Die Wahlrechtsreform der Ampel ist eine vertane Chance. Wir waren zu jeder Zeit gespr\u00e4chsbereit, um eine verfassungsgem\u00e4\u00dfe und nachhaltige Reform zu erarbeiten, und haben dazu auch konsensf\u00e4hige Vorschl\u00e4ge unterbreitet. Dass die Ampel keinerlei Gespr\u00e4chsbereitschaft gezeigt hat und sich stattdessen ein Wahlrecht zu ihrem eigenen Vorteil geschnitzt hat, ist \u00e4u\u00dferst bedauerlich.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
