Doch die Realit\u00e4t sieht leider oft anders aus. Der Blick auf den Gehaltszettel sorgt am Monatsende h\u00e4ufig f\u00fcr ungl\u00e4ubiges Kopfsch\u00fctteln. Die Unionsfraktion hat die Bundesregierung deshalb in einem Antrag aufgefordert, steuerliche Entlastungen f\u00fcr Arbeitnehmerinnen und Arbeitnehmer zu schaffen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Konkret sieht unser Antrag vor, den Grundfreibetrag und den Kinderfreibetrag f\u00fcr das s\u00e4chliche Existenzminimum um zw\u00f6lf Prozent anzuheben. Au\u00dferdem fordern wir, das Kindergeld f\u00fcr 2024 entsprechend anzuheben und die bis 2022 geltende Stufung f\u00fcr kinderreiche Familien ab dem dritten und vierten Kind wieder einzuf\u00fchren.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Diese Forderungen sind angesichts des beschlossenen B\u00fcrgergeld-Anstiegs um zw\u00f6lf Prozent zum 1. Januar 2024 ein deutliches Signal f\u00fcr die Besserstellung von Leistung, denn Besch\u00e4ftigung muss attraktiver sein als der Bezug von Sozialleistungen. Schon heute stellen sich Bezieherinnen und Bezieher von Sozialleistungen durch eine Arbeitsaufnahme in vielen Branchen allerdings schlechter.
