ME\/CFS f\u00fchrt bei Betroffenen zu krankhafter Ersch\u00f6pfung. Nach jeglicher Anstrengung verschlimmern sich die Symptome. Dazu veranstaltet die CDU\/CSU-Bundestagsfraktion am 27. M\u00e4rz eine Videokonferenz.<\/p>\n

Obwohl viele Menschen am chronischen Ersch\u00f6pfungssyndrom leiden, ist die Krankheit wenig bekannt und kaum anerkannt. W\u00e4hrend die Forschung nur schleppend vorankommt, m\u00fcssen Erkrankte oft jahrelang auf eine Diagnose warten. Konkrete Therapiepl\u00e4ne fehlen ebenso wie die Aussicht auf Heilung. Weil die Krankheit nur schwer diagnostizierbar ist, werden Patientinnen und Patienten oft als S\u00edmulanten stigmatisiert.<\/p>\n

Die Unionsfraktion m\u00f6chte die Betroffenen und ihre Angeh\u00f6rigen nicht l\u00e4nger alleine lassen. Deshalb hat sie bereits im Januar 2023 einen Antrag (Drucksache 20\/4886<\/a>) in den Deutschen Bundestag eingebracht. Darin fordert sie von der Bundesregierung deutlich mehr Unterst\u00fctzung und Forschung. Wie dies konkret aussehen k\u00f6nnte, soll bei der Videokonferenz mit Expertinnen und Experten, Patienten und Angeh\u00f6rigen sowie dem digitalen Publikum diskutiert werden.<\/p>\n
