Das Gesetz ist zwar gut gemeint, aber handwerklich schlecht umgesetzt. Der Weg zu mehr Tierwohl gelingt nur mit einem Gesamtpaket.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Im vorliegenden Gesetzentwurf wird nur frisches Fleisch von Schweinen verpflichtend erfasst, die in Deutschland gem\u00e4stet wurden und im Einzelhandel, an der Bedientheke, auf dem Wochenmarkt oder im Onlinehandel verkauft werden. Wenn sich eine Familie zu Weihnachten einen guten Braten g\u00f6nnen will, wei\u00df sie beim Einkauf k\u00fcnftig, unter welchen Bedingungen das Schwein gem\u00e4stet wurde. Sie wei\u00df aber nicht, unter welchen Umst\u00e4nden das Ferkel geboren und aufgezogen wurde. Wurde es vielleicht im Ausland bet\u00e4ubungslos kastriert und anschlie\u00dfend importiert? Hat das Schwein nach der Mast bei Transport und Schlachtung wom\u00f6glich unn\u00f6tig gelitten? Diese Fragen beantwortet die von Bundesminister \u00d6zdemir geplante Kennzeichnung nicht. Das schafft weder Transparenz noch Verbrauchervertrauen.<\/span><\/p>\n

In der vorliegenden Form ist das Tierhaltungskennzeichnungsgesetz ein St\u00fcckwerk ohne Mehrwert f\u00fcr landwirtschaftliche Tierhalter und Verbraucher. Die Beschr\u00e4nkung auf die Kennzeichnung von frischem Schweinefleisch f\u00fchrt dazu, dass maximal 25 Prozent der Schweinefleischprodukte gekennzeichnet werden. Der gesamte Bereich verarbeiteter Produkte sowie der Au\u00dfer-Haus-Verpflegung (Kantinen, Mensen, Restaurants) wird nicht ber\u00fccksichtigt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Zudem werden bekannte und bew\u00e4hrte privatwirtschaftliche Systeme wie die „Initiative Tierwohl“ durch die vorgesehene Form der Kennzeichnung in ihrer Existenz gef\u00e4hrdet. Die bei den Verbraucherinnen und Verbrauchern schon hinreichend bekannte und akzeptierte Kennzeichnung mit den Stufen 1 bis 4 von haltungsform.de wird f\u00fcr frisches Schweinefleisch in der aktuellen Form, eventuell sogar \u00fcberhaupt nicht mehr m\u00f6glich sein, da das bisherige vierstufige System nicht weiterverwendet werden darf.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hinzu kommt, dass unsere Landwirte gegen\u00fcber ausl\u00e4ndischen Erzeugern einen erheblichen Wettbewerbsnachteil erleiden w\u00fcrden, denn Fleisch aus dem Ausland muss nicht verpflichtend gekennzeichnet werden. Die bisherigen privaten Tierwohlbem\u00fchungen werden so aus dem Markt gedr\u00e4ngt, das Tierwohlniveau in Deutschland wird in der Folge dramatisch sinken und ein gro\u00dfer Teil der Tierhaltung wird ins Ausland verlagert.<\/span><\/p>\n

Auch die so wichtige Herkunftskennzeichnung ist immer noch nicht in Sicht. Denn nur damit wei\u00df die KonsumentIn verl\u00e4sslich, ob sie beste und l\u00fcckenlos kontrollierte Qualit\u00e4t aus Deutschland auf den Teller bekommt. Die Verbraucherinnen und Verbraucher wollen 5x Deutschland von der Geburt bis zur Verarbeitung, sie w\u00fcnschen sich eine umfassende Haltungs- und Herkunftskennzeichnung \u00fcberall, auch in der Gastronomie und in der Au\u00dfer-Haus-Verpflegung.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wir alle wollen den Umbau der Tierhaltung! Dazu braucht es aber nicht nur ein vollst\u00e4ndiges Tierhaltungskennzeichnungsgesetz, das alle Wertsch\u00f6pfungsstufen, alle Tierarten und alle Vertriebskan\u00e4le umfasst, sondern zeitgleich auch eine \u00c4nderung des Bau- und des Immissionsschutzrechts und insbesondere eine langfristige, planbare und ausk\u00f6mmliche Finanzierung.
