Dazu erkl\u00e4ren der agrarpolitische Sprecher der CDU\/CSU-Bundestagsfraktion, Albert Stegemann, und die zust\u00e4ndige Berichterstatterin Christina Stumpp:<\/p>\n

Albert Stegemann:<\/strong> \u201eBundeslandwirtschaftsminister \u00d6zdemir verweigert den tierhaltenden landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben in Deutschland die erhofften wirtschaftlichen Perspektiven. Sein Entwurf f\u00fcr eine Tierhaltungskennzeichnung ist l\u00fcckenhaft und f\u00fchrt zu einer Verschiebung des Marktes \u2013 weg vom hochwertigen Schweinefleisch aus unseren Regionen hin zu billiger Importware. Zudem ist das im Gesetzentwurf vorgesehene Verfahren zur Anzeige und Registrierung von Betrieben unn\u00f6tig b\u00fcrokratisch und aufwendig.\u201c<\/p>\n

Christina Stumpp:<\/strong> \u201eDer Gesetzentwurf f\u00fcr eine Tierhaltungskennzeichnung ist gut gemeint, aber schlecht gemacht. So wird die angestrebte Lenkung der Verbraucher zu Produkten aus tierschonender Haltung nicht nur verfehlt, sondern sogar konterkariert. Beispiel Ferkel: Wie soll die Kennzeichnung Vertrauen in das Fleischprodukt wecken, wenn zwar hohe Standards in der Mast eingehalten werden, eine zwischenzeitige Kastration im Ausland ohne Bet\u00e4ubung aber nicht ausgeschlossen werden kann?<\/p>\n

Leider fehlt auch ein verbindlicher Fahrplan zur Einbeziehung aller Tiergruppen, Wertsch\u00f6pfungsstufen und Absatzkan\u00e4le wie der Au\u00dferhaus-Verpflegung und der Gastronomie. Auch deshalb wurde der Gesetzentwurf in der Verb\u00e4ndeanh\u00f6rung durch die Bank verrissen – von den Landwirten \u00fcber die Schlachtunternehmen bis hin zu den Tierschutzorganisationen.
